Leaving a gift in your Will

Would you like to leave a lasting legacy to Tasmanians with diabetes and become one of our Legacy Ambassadors? A gift today, is a gift for the future.

Leaving a gift in your Will, will be a legacy of lasting hope for future generations – it is a special way of contributing to the future of all Tasmanians living with all types of diabetes.

Your gift can represent a loved one, as a tribute bequest – that will last a lifetime or perhaps you would like to support a particular program that is close to your heart, like our camps for children with type 1 diabetes or a contribution to research.

When you notify us of your intention to leave a lasting gift in your Will for Diabetes Tasmania, you will become one of our Legacy Ambassadors. You will be invited to yearly functions, receive updates, personal letters from the CEO and a copy of our annual report.

Whether you are writing your first Will, or updating your current one, please remember Diabetes Tasmania and the difference you can make to the lives of countless Tasmanians who either live with diabetes, live with undiagnosed diabetes or are at high risk of developing diabetes.

In planning your estate, we strongly recommend that you seek independent legal advice from your solicitor or estate planning professional.

If you would like more information on leaving us a gift in your Will please email Ange Headlam, Fundraising and Marketing Coordinator or phone 6215 9000.
