Diabetes Tasmania and Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Tasmania will be coming to Swansea and Triabunna for a Health and Wellbeing talk . This is part of a larger Tassie roadshow which will see the team travel through the state to a number of regional locations.

Dates are:

Swansea, Wednesday 1 December 2021

Triabunna, Thursday 2 December 2021

Who should come:

These community events are for everyone but are highly recommended for people at risk of or living with, diabetes and chronic disease including but not limited to mental illness, cardiovascular disease (CVD), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), dementia and musculoskeletal disease.

These events are designed to help you stay healthy and get more out of life.

Join us to learn more about the benefits of physical activity and eating well. You’ll also have the opportunity to take a ‘risk assessment test’ to find out if you may be at risk of diabetes as well as get some information about diabetes prevention and self-management for those already diagnosed with diabetes.

There will be a light lunch provided on the day at all events, but places are strictly limited.
